Champions League's Greatest Comeback

Continuing on from last year (Iceland at the Euros, Leicester City in the EPL) this year is filling up with with some of the greatest comeback efforts in the history of sports. The Super Bowl comes to mind and more recently the European Champions League knockout round between Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain.
If you watched the first game where Barcelona got trounced upon by Paris Saint Germain you would understand the impossible mountain Barcelona had to climb in order to beat Paris Saint Germain in game two. With four points down and and no away goals, Barcelona had to score four goals to even out the aggregate scoreline and then score another goal to win the round and proceed to the quarter finals. All Paris Saint Germain had to do was score an away goal which would then create an even more difficult battle for Barcelona. Paris Saint Germain did end up scoring a goal which meant Barcelona had to score 6 goals to win the entirety of that round.
When the game looked dull for Barcelona as the minutes ticked down to the 90th minute you could tell the hope of a comeback was getting further and further away from their grasps. That is, until Neymar Jnr stepped up and created some amazing opportunities – 3 to be exact in the last 10minutes. I guess thats why they pay him the big bucks. It was spectacular to watch.
Never stop believing. Never stop trying. Results happen when you have that kind of attitude in the midst of a what may seem like a losing battle.
I’ll stop here so you can watch the game highlights and see for yourself.
